Manufacturing Industrial Invites You to Become a Part of our Legacy

November 22, 2024 – The Manufacturing Industrial Communication department is pleased to
announce its latest team project; and it needs your help! The Faces of Manufacturing Industrial
is a monthly newsletter written by our team, about our team, for our team. Faces of
Manufacturing Industrial will include feature-style columns about our greatest asset – you!
Members of the Manufacturing Industrial Communication department will conduct face-to-face
interviews with members of our team spanning across every department on a voluntary basis,
asking questions about their lives and interests. These may include questions about their
hobbies, family members, lived experiences, and whatever else our incredible team feels
inclined to share.

The Faces of Manufacturing Industrial newsletter seeks to help every one of us connect with
each other at work. Our central values of diversity and safety are not concepts that can exist
organically unless every one of us do our best to embody them as a culture here at work. Our
Communication department hopes that by placing a spotlight on the unique individuals that make up our team once a month, we can leverage these stories as a chance to learn from one
another, build trust and empathy between each other, and grow together.

In the coming months, you can look forward to getting access to the Faces of Manufacturing
Industrial employee newsletter. Each month, one new issue will be sent to all Manufacturing
Industrial employees through their company email addresses. Additionally, each new release
will be printed and posted on each department’s daily huddle bulletin board.

Finally, the official Faces of Manufacturing SharePoint site will launch alongside the first issue.
Here, you will be able to access the most recent issue, an archive of previous articles, and your
opportunity to participate! The SharePoint site will feature a form for volunteer interviewees to
submit to the Communication department to voice their interest in being featured in a future
issue.

To find out more about the Faces of Manufacturing Industrial newsletter, or to volunteer to be
interviewed for the first few issues, please send an email to
communication@industrialmanufacturing.com. On behalf of all of Manufacturing Industrial,
thank you for being uniquely you.

A Letter from Tim Tiedoll

Good morning Manufacturing Industrial,

I am excited to announce a unique new project headed by our very own communication team.
For over four decades, Manufacturing Industrial strives to create a culture that values
diversity and inclusion. Thanks to the dedication of our amazing team, we help set the bar for
inclusive workplaces within this industry.

On behalf of our communication team, I am pleased to announce the Faces of Manufacturing
Industrial employee newsletter. This is a monthly publication written by employees, featuring
employees, for employees. In the first week of each month, you can expect a new issue of Faces
of Manufacturing to be delivered into your email inbox. This unique digital newsletter will feature interviews with voluntary members of our Manufacturing Industrial team. These
interviews seek to help us understand the most important part of our team better – you!

Members of our communication team will conduct interviews with Manufacturing Industrial
employees on a voluntary basis. The subjects of these interviews might include hobbies, life
stories, dreams and aspirations, and other personal details that make our team members
unique. Our hope is that if we can all get to know who we are outside of work, we can all show
up a little more authentically ourselves.

Trust, empathy, and compassion are the building blocks that shape Manufacturing Industrial’s
culture of inclusion. We want to highlight our diverse workforce by celebrating their most
authentic selves. The goal of the Faces of Manufacturing Industrial project is to bridge the gap
between who we are at home, and who we are at work, for the sake of creating a safer, more
inclusive space for each of our team members.

I sincerely hope that you will join in our efforts to make the Faces of Manufacturing Industrial
newsletter something special. This project will only be successful if we all work together. The
most important ingredient in this employee newsletter is you! We want to hear your stories,
your wisdom, and your aspirations for the future. Help us to learn from one another and
practice our values of diversity and inclusion by volunteering for an interview with Faces of
Industrial Manufacturing today.
